i fish in ponds in about 6 inches to 2 feet and in some deep places around brush but what is the best lurue for that i use a litle rapala floatin minow with alot of jerking to imatate a wounded or dieing minow plz write back....

I am going bluegill fishing in a couple of days. So i just want to know what yall think.

Sorry, haven't wrote in a long time, but had to add these photos of my recent spring outings to two of my favorite spring 'gill lakes. What the heck is the difference between "blogs" and "forum?"

today went fishing for 1 hour caught 15 bluegills and huge ones, most of them close to a pound.

no wrong answers i will try them all. in certain lakes and rivers i go to i have to fish deeper than other places. so just tell me how deep i should fish.

what do bluegills mostly like. I only fish with crickets and night crawlers (u.s.a) not candian night crawlers. I head that u can fish for bluegill with grub and some other things. tell me what you think i should fish with for bluegills. no wrong answers. I really appreciate it. thanks

i am going to try to catch bluegills on soap this week cuz i saw the show River Monsters on animal planet and the guy caught some catfish on soap.

I have been catching these small sucker or chub like fish this year for the first time and dont know what species it is. They seem to like small artificials ,wormpieces and mealworms though. went out for some gills friday and decided to take some minnows just in case. Caught 2 small gills and 40 crappie. . Everywhere you looked, crappie were chasing minnows. Used chartruse jig tipped with minnow, They liked it better with no sinker. Out of the forty, thirty eight were females with eggs.Where were the males? Dreaming of spawing is all I can think of.Looking for comments
