Pleasant Surprise Today….5/29/2025
This is one species that isn’t bothered much by inclimate weather……my father always said when we faced challenging conditions “ if we can go fishing the sac-a-lait will reward us.”…..this has validated time and time again…

Thanks a lot Bruce….wishing you a speedy recovery and good luck when you get out there….I’ve always loved catching crappie regardless of the method…..we used to fish for them at night on Toledo Bend Reservoir…..some of the funnest times I had with my father…..we were also really good trolling the grass lines during the spawn….

Great crappie. I'm hoping to hook up with a few. I'm on the mend and expect to be able to fish in the next few weeks, although the spawn will be over.
