Hello Dick,
Thank you very much for the warm welcome! Are you an Admin here? If not, then maybe you can pass this along to someone that is. A member with the username of James Pollard left a comment on my profile. I believe it to be SPAM or a Bot. Could that be removed and that account blocked please?
Thank you very much for your time,

Thanks Dick!
Glad to see you posting some nice catches Dick!
Thanks, Dick. My wife and I downsized into a little condo last year, with a nice pond off the patio. It is full of bluegill. I have been keeping the 7" to 9"-ers, and releasing most others. I have caught a few 10-inchers, two 11 -inchers and one that was just shy of 12 inches long. (I recently started taking pictures.) I was even catching fish the week of Thanksgiving. Later, Gator!
Thanks for the welcome, Bill. I'm here in Central NY waiting on good ice to form. In the mean time, I spend my time making and selling my Ice Fishing Rods under the name, Hardwater Customs. It became a hobby business about 8 yrs ago. I was forced to retire from the Sheriff's Patrol due to injuries and was bored out of my mind. I combined my hobby of fixing and building rods and ice fishing and it's gotten me through a few surgeries and some rough times. Nothing beats getting out and catching 'Gills, Sunnies and any of the other well known "Panfish"! Thanks to all for a great site! I look forward to many hours of enjoyment. When I get a chance, I'll post a few pics of my rods and catches. In the meantime, feel free to look me up on Facebook under Hardwater Customs or on eBay under the seller name of sealpup2. Thanks again from CNY !
Thanks for the warm welcome so far this seems like my kinda place

OK Greg and Leo you got me started with the float tubes. I need any info on fishing float tubes cause I have never used one before I think you gathered that though. I'm a fairly large person no large person with one back surgery under my belt so I would like something comfortable with great back support. Any help would be appreciated back support being the main emphasis.

I have a personal best as far as weeds are concerned. Curly Leaf Pond Weed is a fish magnet for me and I have a hard time passing a clump without fishing it. The lakes I fish in Michigan are loaded with them. You may see a single green stalk in 10' or 15' of water depending on water clarity or maybe a ¼ acre or more of them bunched together. They tend to grow deeper than a lot of lake weeds do…

Looking around in the barn and found that fly rod that I didn't know I had. I was going to go to Bass pro and get a new fly rod so that I could learn how to use one. Lucky for me I went to the pole barn first. I don't know a thing about it but hope it will be good for gills and sunfish. It's a Gander Mountain Guide Series. I tried to look it up and found no info so i'm thinking it must be discontinued. Its a Gander Mountain Guide Series- Plateau PL9044 9' line wt 4. If anyone can tell me if…
