Thanks Greg and Leo

OK Greg and Leo you got me started with the float tubes. I need any info on fishing float tubes cause I have never used one before I think you gathered that though. I'm a fairly large person no large person with one back surgery under my belt so I would like something comfortable with great back support. Any help would be appreciated back support being the main emphasis.

Do you have a favorite weed

I have a personal best as far as weeds are concerned. Curly Leaf Pond Weed is a fish magnet for me and I have a hard time passing a clump without fishing it. The lakes I fish in Michigan are loaded with them. You may see a single green stalk in 10' or 15' of water depending on water clarity or maybe a ¼ acre or more of them bunched together. Fly fishing

Looking around in the barn and found that fly rod that I didn't know I had. I was going to go to Bass pro and get a new fly rod so that I could learn how to use one. I tried to look it up and found no info so i'm thinking it must be discontinued. Its a Gander Mountain Guide Series- Plateau PL9044 9' line wt 4. If anyone can tell me if…

Electric reel

I was thinking maybe if I got my wife an electric reel I can get her fishing again and that would be to my benefit maybe I can fish more than once or twice a year cause she'll be with me. The one's I seen through the internet look big and heavy. I need small and light. I know she loves to fish maybe this will be the ticket so she can enjoy it once again. I know I will have to order it because I've never seen them in any sporting goods store and I know there not cheep so I really need to shop…

Fish reference pictures

Hi there. My name is Dick Tabbert. I know some of you from Big Bluegill here and have a favor to ask of you. I started wood carving probably 30 years ago at which time I carved mostly birds and ducks and after 10 years not having enough time I put up the knives and gouges. Now that I'm in Big Bluegill and retired and starting to see some of these fantastic photo's that your posting I'm thinking that It's really time to get back into it. I see…
