Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Early season bluegill at King Fisher Society! Fished about 2 hours this evening and got 33 of these big boys. About 4 or five over 2 lbs. and all over 1 1/2 lbs. These fish are going to be monsters when they put on egg weight. Not bad for about 24 hours after a 14 degree water temp. drop (56 degrees to 42 degrees). We caught them when the water temp. got back up to 48 degrees this evening.

That's a toad for sure.......I'm hoping the warm up this week will turn everything on......see several days in the 70s with milder nights for coastal N.C.
