Thanks Greg. I know that It is a learning experience and I did learn something out of it so the experience isn't totally a negative one. You are right though I am on my own worst critic.That's something I don't ever think will change but don't stop me from trying but helps me to try to improve.

HEY DICK I AGREE WITH GREG HOPPER ON THIS ONE , GIVE YOURSELF A BREAK and don't be so hard on yourself buddy. I have a little tray of stuff that I can't throw away , ties I didn't like, that I keep as reminders of failures and I learn from that stuff, AS DO ALL TIERS...........

Hey Dick I really liked the way the three colors blended together and keep at it partner and I still think it is an excellent tie no matter the size of hook.....

Thanks David. The reason I know is because the hook barb is between the eye's. But through my mistakes I can say I'm still learning. I'll keep it so I know if I do another one I'll need a bigger hook or a hook that is longer.

Carl the looks are only OK but that's to be expected because it my 1st one.  I put to small of a hook in it. The hook is so small it's right under the eye's and I believe a hook set would be impossible. But I guess the main thing is I just wanted to see if I could make one and it turned out OK. Now on to some different stuff.

Yup it looks super to me Dick and when wet will look alot differeent . How do ya know the hooks too small?

Another one of my failures. The craft fur minnow. Don't look real bad but the hook is way to small.
