Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

    Hello All,

The big lake here in NJ is finally fishing up to its potential now that the water level has risen enough for me to launch my Ranger.  Been catching multiple species each trip....Bluegills are slowly turning on, been getting  few decent pumkinseeds, but regular gills are small. However the Crappies, Perch. Pickerel, LM and SM Bass and Walleye have more then made up for it!!!! Almost all have been caught on small soft plastics rigged on 1/16oz jigheads. Using my prefered G. Loomis TSR series rods and Daiwa Exist 1003H reels. I hope you all don't mind the lack of bluegills.....LOL.
