i would have to say the nottoway river i absolutely love the primative feel it has and the diversity of fish species and it houses my favorite the toothy dinosaur.....the longnose gar and its one of only 5 rivers in which the roanoke bass occurs

If you mean specific places, then I'd say Lake Murray, SC.

In general, I prefer quiet relaxing backwaters.

Bobby, any place that have fish, and allow me to fish without worrying that there are creature that will give me the run for my life, such as gators, snakes, eels, or tiny fish that crawl up into my manhood or rear end. Otherwise, I'm all good anywhere..and any place can be a favorite place.

The Blackwater brackish rivers of Northeast North Carolina offer so much versatility and great catches of Coppernose Bluegill....hands down my favorite fish to catch!

I've never been to NC, but any place that has places that look like that must truly be a wonderful place to fish!

Let me know if you get out to Carolina JB and I'll show you around the Bluegill holes!

i agree david any body of water is great and like you i like the peaceful out of the way backwaters too

Miles and Miles of bluegill country with very few anglers........Peaceful and rewarding waters.....

I think them wakes are mine I made them with my bass boat. Looks like a great spot to try anyway I can get lost in my thoughts just thinking about it. Jeff you always have pictures of great spots, love them.

snakes bother me too leo and candirud no thank i also care alot for my manhood but i would lobe to fish south america one day
jeffrey we must join forces since were about 2 1/2 to 3 hours from each other and reek havoc upon the panfish one day.i wanna fish mattamuskeet and am highly interested in merchant's mill alligators bowfin and gar ahhhh what a place call me crazy

I have a few lake I use to frequent in Southern Michigan. The water is on a chain of lakes with the river connecting them. The water is clear with just the right amount of weed.
