Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

7/18/15 Mayfly. I caught a mayfly earlier this week and threw it in the pond. When it quit moving (died) then the gills attacked it. I told myself 1st fly would tie would be a mayfly. Made it up this morning only 1 then went out and mowed. Guess what now it pouring cats and dogs I just can't win.

That's a feather from a ducks behind that make the fly float because of the oil in it. Plus it is a soft feather.

Thanks John. They will get better that's my 1st one and it called for CDC feathers and I couldn't find any so I guess there is something I don't have.
