Mark I know I will love mine to as soon as I start tying like its a Nor Vise. Hard after tying with a regular vise for 3 years.

All I did today was the mayfly and like I said I used it like a regular vise have to get use to tying the Nor Vise way.

I love my  Nor -vise I think it is a lot easier to tie on it, I mostly use my HMH vise for a profile vise, the HMH is a quality vise too,I do use a Marc Petitjean bobbin when I tie with the Nor vise and I use the automatic ones too

That's great Dick. Trying to start tying flies a different way does take a lot of learning. Show us some of your flies from the NorVise.

Steve I manage to tie one fly that was high on my list that I wanted to try out today. That didn't work after I mowed it started raining cats and dogs. The bobbing works great I have to get use to touching the bobbin for tension so I can wrap tighter. The vice will take some getting use to. I keep finding myself going back to my old ways of tying but I think once I get all that down it will be a good vice for me.

Thanks Mark. I think I seen all the Nor Vise videos 2 or 3 time and getting close to jumping in and trying it out. It looks easy on you tube but they always make it look easy the proof is in the pudding.

I can do that Steve and be glad to.

Let us know how you like the vise and the bobbins also. Almost bought a NorVise myself, but was afraid of not being able to angle the vise got a Dyna King instead. Those automatic bobbins seem to be a great tool. Let us know.
