Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Caught these 3 and one I couldn't even turn I'm thinking it was one of my hybrid strippers on the 2wt this evening on my Dragon fly nymph. This one was a 10 hen the 1st fish 1st cast.

This was a 7" yellow perch on the dragon fly nymph.

Another small gill. Was out for about 20 minutes and 5 minute of that I had to go back to the house and get the camera.

Nice work on the home made bug Dick....looks fun!

Thanks Jeffrey this is my biggest gill for the year the 1st one. All were caught on the nymph.

Thats a nice hen Dick......

Nice catches Dick, sounds like a good 20 minutes

Caught them all on the 2wt fly rod and the biggest one was a blast putting a lot of bend in the 9' rod.

It really was Adam been fishing the last 2 weeks and it seems for some reason they turned on a little. Had the stripper on but couldn't even turn it.

Looks like you got a winner fly to mass produce!

Leo I don't think that's going to happen no mass producing here sorta take the fun out of it and that's why I do it is for the fun and relaxation..

Mass production is for handing out to family and friends, as a back up arsenal. Just like how Tooty makes about 1000 of them just to be "on the safe side".

HEY LEO that is exactly why I tie up bunches for you guys to try out !!!!!!!!!!!

And always much appreciated with your reserves. LOL. Can't keep up the count of catches using your stingers and experimentation in my senile years.

I can't keep count either Leo and thanks for your compliment on the bugs. LEt me know what you need if any or you can wait to see the experimentals this winter buddy!!!!!!
