i have a wilderness tarpon 100 ,sit on top and it has lots of room to move around .the nu canoe is a nice looking ride ,.go to you tube and type the one you like and you can watch video about them.

what your opinion on the bass pro brand yaks
None bad about Bass Pro yaks. I've used a few. Question is, what is your budget. Cheaper models Bass Pro brand, or knock offs, can be quite resistant in water. Starting out at $300, you hit the styles designed for cutting water efficiently. It aslo provide storage well for your clothes, gears, and the battery for the fish finder.

basspro have differant kinds but there prices are fare they have a new ascend fs12t  angler sit on top,for around 500.00 .some places have package deals ,with paddle life jacket,,make sure that you get one with a good seat! or you will be sorry, i bought mine from austin canoe and kayak, they have package deals.

thanks for the input leo imma probably spend from 4 to 500 for it a tax return gift if you will haha
LOL already purchased a sit on top pontoon, Dave Scadden Sunrise. I like to stand up so I can see the spawning beds, as well as the surface disturbances caused by feeding frenzy. It was great to do fly rodding too, until the watercrafts users scare the hell out of me with their wakes. A bouncing pontoon is not fun for doing fly rodding..not even standing.
you guys are great thanks I looked at the ascend angler good looking model its the olive drab colored one right
Olive is great for camo as you approach the beds or shallow areas. Make sure it has the storage well, and good leg support for your height. Make sure it has a good seat and cushion, or you'll feel it in 2 hours.
yeah I definetly get in 'em and see what fits and a comfortable seat is a must

That's why I use my Bass boat so I can fish in comfort. Unfortunately for me my back won't tolerate life in a kayak. The body don't flex like it us to. I think I can do a tube though something I may check on next time I go to Bass Pro.

Dick, if you can't tollerate yaks, you won't be able to handle tubes. It's a more of a claustophobic version of the yaks.

Never fished in either but seems like with a tube you would be able to move your legs around so you wouldn't have to be in the same position all the time. Seems like you would be in more of a setting position.
