Bruce Condello has an article in April's North American Fisherman

If you don't know what a Meanmouth bass is, you need to read the article "Return of the Meanmouth" by Bruce Condello in April's "North American Fisherman".

Bruce, who is the guy holding the monster?  Good article!

I made it through double knee replacement on the 5th of march and recovery is going well. the weather here in northeast ohio is right on the border of ridiculous . woke up to 4to 5 in of snow this morning . a friend of mine went out in his boat saturday and said he had to break through about 3/8 in of ice for a long distance just to get to the spot he wanted to fish .it is probably good that the weather is bad as i would be chomping at the bit to go .this weekend over easter it looks like…

Big thank you to Carl Hendrix and David Eitutis for flies!

Just want to post a thank you to Carl and David for sending me some of the flies they have made. The PINK does the job! Jeffrey Abney you are the man! Attached is a picture of 2 pink flies that I tried out today, one on the left from Carl and on the right from David. Both are slow sinking flies and that is what the bluegill, crappie and bass wanted today.

Would not touch a top water popper. Nothing big today due to all the rain we've had here in the Lowcountry of South…
