Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

I can occasionally scoop these Grass Shrimp with a scoop net and panfish suck them down......When you scoop them you put them in ice water and it firms them up to thread on the hook......hook set ratio is very high!

Uncle Josh use to package them don't know if'n they are still available or not. Jeffrey, even these Alabama BG love them as well.

Wish we could cultivate them prolifically over here like your area. I tried in a controlled environment and still have a hard time. In nature, they're as good as MIA within a week.

Since we don't have them here naturally, anyone try the preserved grass shrimp for bluegill's?

Thanks guys........amazing results at times with these little guys........in many coastal areas in the south the grass shrimp has spawned the use of much larger shrimp species for live application for a multitude of species.......
