- Hi Geromed, Our names are similar but a little different and pronounced differently. No offense intended. I am in De Funiak Springs, FL. Haven't fished much for gills lately as have been on the crappie chase. However, last week myself and partner did get into a real mess of warmouth. This is my first winter in many years of freshwater fishing for panfish. It's sure different than spring and summer
