Thanks guys....it's all in the hat Jacob...course this one has been in the drink a couple times so the form is gone...LOL....You assumed right Tooty, that's my dad and my nephew Dan....We've had five great Summers in a row and we're looking for # 6....if May is any indication, we'll be just fine......Thesefish were caught on the Perquimans River in North Carolina....

The gang will be back together in Northeast North Carolina next Thursday.....Here's to an even better vacation than we had in 2011....that will be a difficult task..........Need some help this year Dan....LOL

I miss the old stories, I live in a town of 1200 people. When I was a teenager I worked at both gas stations in town. All the old timers would stop in either leaving or coming back from a fishing trip, for coffe and a smoke. I sure miss the yarns they use to weave.

My dad has had a great Fall down in Southeastern Louisiana flyfishing. Pushing him to join Bigbluegill.com but he would have to let us kids get him a computer first. LOL He still prefers to tell good fish stories rather than showing testimonials. Thats still o.k. in my book!

Happy birthday to the man that always had time to take me fishing! You can't learn how to live from someone that hasn't lived right! I'm grateful for that and I have enjoyed every minute we have spent on the water, whether bass fishing Toledo Bend, Crappie fishing at night on Toledo or Flyfishing gills and goggle-eyes back in the Rice Fields in Louisiana or the back waters of Carolina! Look forward to many more trips Pop !!!!
