Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Pictured are my first attempt at Bluegill poppers. I glued two, 3mm foam sheets together and cut them out with a drill and a cutting set I bought from Harbor Freight. The hook is a size 8, R-200 Tiemco hooks. Please feel free to criticize and tell me how I can improve them. I can take it.

Bruce , Those look GREAT!!!!! Will be waiting on a fishing report on these!!!!! JOB WELL DONE!!!!!!

Not bad, next time I see one of them I expect it to be hanging out of a Fat Gills mouth!

Bruce them poppers turned out great now all you need is a couple hungry gills.

Somethin will slurp those babies down.  Good Job!

Bruce , What kind of GLUE did you use???????

Those look real good Bruce. I have never tied a popper, but want to learn how.

THE ONLY WAY TO IMPROVE THESE IS TO HAVE A FISH HANGING OFF ONE OF EM. LOOK GREAT TO ME and I've never made one of my own . Good job !

Good job on the poppers Bruce. I got some popper material but have to learn how to tie the feathers and stuff on the back.

I agree w/ Greg.  Those look Great!  I'd fish them!

I'm also interested in what glue did you use?

It's been a month and a half.  Have you fished them yet?
