Tooty don't think you'll have to worry about putting anybody to shame there is much talent here with far better offerings than I. I'm in in for the fun and I'm always wanting to better myself so I pick all the minds that will let me in. Enjoy your trip that is what I would much rather be doing but for not I'll just keep trying to better my tying skills.

Thanks David and Rex for some reason beyond my control I had Catalpa worms on the mind so I made a few but I know there's nothing like the real thing when it come to these little creepy crawlers..

They look pretty 'wormy,' Dick.

I haven't been out fishing but one time so I figured I may as well do something so I tied up a few things. Was out cleaning the pond up a little and found some dragon fly nymphs so I tied to tie a few and actually they turned out pretty decent. This tying is a stress reliever but found I can't tie anything very fast I'm thinkin between not being able to see very well and these big fingers I have to go very slow not because I want to though..

I've been sitting on my fly tieing kit now for two months...seeing your work here makes me want to break it out and start. I was kind of waiting for hard water season.
Great job on the close replication.
