Hey Bruce…..I have never been able to mimic a stranded dragonfly on the surface….the fluttering wings are a ridiculous magnet for fish……I do tie a popping bug trailer behind a bass lure with some success when there’s an abundance of insect activity……..

Thanks Bruce…..I’ve been trying to get a picture of the giant dragonfly, the body is got to be six to eight inches long, I love seeing them in the wild in large groups…..
