Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

I had the great privilege of molding Tom Farchione's catch of a lifetime. This is the cast replica with a replica twister jig incorporated. Specs of this fish are; 17 inches long x 20 inches round @ 6 pounds 3 ounces...

Thanks for all the kind words. Yes, this is a true giant of the freshwater sunfish world.

It didn't have much spawn in it, mostly crayfish and quagga clams. I wonder if they can get any bigger :)

This is an incredible fish and nobody can create a masterpiece like Tim can……He did a flier for me several years ago and I’ve put it on display at a couple local tackle shops and it receives incredible reviews….that’s the fish and more importantly the craftsmanship……..another incredible keepsake Tim, thanks for sharing…..
