Tim,the result of your work (both, the replica you made for me and that you made for Bass Tackle Master) are realistic and magnificent beyond expectations. Absolutely wonderful!  I am very grateful and YES!!! It is a lifetime keepsake!!! Everyone who has seen the redear sunfish recognized it is a truly masterpiece of art. Again, my deepest gratitude. Your friend, Hector

"Thanks, if I ever get that far west I'll get ahold of you somehow and we'll go fishing.  I'd probably have to be with you to get a PB.  You can call me Grasshopper!"

"That's the beauty of Catch & Release Replicas, you can let them go and still get a mount.    I got you covered."

Free Replica Fish List

Any angler that catches a fish in the sizes listed OR LARGER and delivers it to me, MAY receive a FREE replica of your fish. After receiving your trophy, I will make a mold of your fish and from the mold,, I will make a replica. This is called a custom cast, an exact copy of the fish you caught. In my opinion, this is the ultimate mount to represent your trophy verses a skin mount (taxidermy).

The fish has to be in good condition and without deformities. Taking a picture of the fish will help me determine if it qualifies. After catching the fish, handle it carefully and freeze it ASAP. Wrap it in 2 plastic bags before freezing. The better the condition of the fish, the better the replica. Email me at reeltrophyfish@aol.com or send me a PM on this forum.

I've had over 20 years of experience in taxidermy and only do replicas now. There are many benefits to a replica. There is no shrinkage, the anatomy is much more accurate, they are very durable, and they will last many, many years!

The following sizes, or larger, is good for a FREE custom cast mount.......

Longear Sunfish - 8 inches

Green Sunfish - 9 1/2 inches

Warmouth - 9 inches

Flier - 9 1/2 inches

Redbreast Sunfish - 10 1/2 inches

Pumpkinseed Sunfish - 10 5/8 inches or 1 lb 6 oz

Bluegill Sunfish - 12 inches or 2 lb 4 oz

Rock Bass - 12 1/2 inches or 1 lb 12 oz

Redear Sunfish (shellcracker) - World Record

Yellow Perch - 16 1/2 inches or 2 lb 12 oz

Black Crappie - 17 inches or 3 lb 4 oz

White Crappie - 17 inches or 3 lb 12 oz

White Bass - 17 1/2 inches or 3 lb

Smallmouth Bass - 7 pounds or larger

Sizes will be updated periodically.

Enjoy that Trophy Forever

I love catching sunfish. There's hardly any other warm water species of fish that look as brilliant in the sunlight. And table fare, one of the best! And talk about putting up a fight, like fighting a cast iron skillet with fins!!!

My love for sunfish has brought me here to offer you all a chance at catching a trophy sunfish and keeping it forever.

Check out my fish list on my page for sizes of panfish for a free custom cast replica.   Sizes will be updated as fish are caught.…
