Do you love big bluegill?
1st attempt at ice jigs. These are on 1/32 oz jig heads. The bottom 2 with glow in the dark chenille will probably be the way I'm sorta leaning towards. Ordered the glow in the dark tail material last night. When I have all my material the entire jig will glow. The jig heads have a white powder base coat with 3 coats of glow in the dark powder paint. Will be attempting 1/64 oz next. I will also be making some ice flies with beads instead of jig heads still thinking on that one lots of different ways I can go on that one..

Anxious to see your results I guess I'll have lots of questions then its an all new world here..
played around with the powder and results are good so far.
Thanks Mark. I like glow stuff to especially for ice fishing but since I just started making ice jigs and flies for ice fishing I'm still receiving glow in the dark material. The jigs will work out I wished I wouldn't have put the top 2 in the picture except they were the 1st ones I made.
Thanks Jen and really nice to hear from you it's been awhile. The rubber legs do glow in the dark so I'm hoping that helps.
great looking jigs Dick!! I love glow in the dark stuff!!
Dick those look fantastic! I've never had any luck with the rubber legs catching anything but they always catch my eye
I think they will work also. Still waiting for my glow in the dark material to come in. Got everything but the glow in the dark tails. They should be here soon I just talked with them today and they said the order was shipped.
Dick your Crappie and Gills will hit these I'm sure!
Jim Cosgrove are you wrapping the jig with the tungsten like a lead wrap and how hard is it to wrap, you got me curious now buddy. Been reading up on it a little but not much info out there..
Thanks Steve I have a starting point. When I get all my stuff I ordered the will completely glow in the dark hopefully that will work for that snow covered ice.
