Mark thank you. My spider isn't woven that kind of stuff is well out of my league. I just tied it and shaded with a permanent marker.

Good job Dick I love the wiggly rubber legs too they drive the bream wild some days. interesting that you tied that one coincidentally I tied 10 woven body spiders for the swap coming up that used similar colors, mine is weighted in the rear similar to the bully spider. I'll try to post a pic tomorrow.

I hope it will work but when I started out I was just goofing off and this is what I can up with.

Starving or not, the fish will still want to be fed.

Yea Allen. Pulled up a picture of a yellow garden spider in the computer and done it with a permanent marker. Sharpie will work as long as it comes to a point.

That does look good!  How did you get the mottling in the abdomen?  Sharpie marker?

Hey David I was thinking the same thing that subtle little twitch and hopefully fish on. Thank you kind sir for the compliment.

The brim'll hit it. I can see 'em now, coming up from below to investigate. They hang back, just close enough to really eyeball it. You give it a tiny twitch and the ripples start to spread. One of the legs wiggles just the least little bit; you cant even detect it. But they can't stand it and one of them rushes in to take it... BAM, he's hooked!

Good job, Dick.
