looks like a few 20 deg nights and an inch of snow will make traction good and some thickness support ... i may go out tomorrow!

Carl ...it wasnt bad yesterday a balmy 40 degs and on the ice. i love ice fishing in weather like that. need a couple more inches of ice for me though to feel comfortable

I drilled a couple holes at the launch and measure 3 to 4 .... So I unloaded the sled out of the car and proceeded to a close to shore spot I had tagged on my map then the ice cracked a bit so I headed for shore and called it an afternoon. Lol... Weeds were up to the top and green. I'll give it a little more time.
