a fish that they catch in our more frigid parts of the country david definetly fit the ugly part but are supposedly delicious and they grow big but i can't lie i find all fish beautiful for real

Burbot (http://fish.dnr.cornell.edu/nyfish/Gadidae/gadidae.html)looks like a freakish cross bred of a fresh water eel and a catfish

Lake Mattamuskeet is a great summer destination for big cats on rod n' reel......This shot was from mid May a few years back when the mercury shot up into the 90s......

Another bullhead....distinguished by the straight tail.......Channel Catfish tail is "V" shaped.....This one actually hit a crank bait....

Thass one nice 'choupique,' Jim. The first one I ever caught was a shock to me. I had never seen one before and it was a  beast in my eyes. As I recall we never brought it in the boat - we just unhooked it alongside and let it go.

I've never caught another one, either.
