Waiting for some warm weather so I can mount them in the boat.

Purchased 2 new Humminbird finders. Helix 7 G2N and a Helix 12 G2N.  Waiting on a new trolling motor. I want the new Ultrex 80 24volt but can't see the money they want for it now.  Will keep checking on prices hopefully I can get one by spring. If anyone should happen to see any deals keep me in mind. Got my new trolling motor last week. Not all I need is warmer weather so I can get these things installed in the boat. Oh, and watching a lot of youtube to better familiarize myself with the 2 finders at least.

Dick... exactly... i keep the cloth and cleaner out on the boat also!

David... it seems to be a common denominator of vinegar as part of the solution... given vinegar has that reputation of dissolving the minerals... it works! i was hesitant to use it at first because Lowrance incorporates a coating on top of the glass that reduces glare... the vinegar i believe works just fine on the Lowrance products.

Something similar that I use to clean my air brushes is window cleaner,/distilled water,  and 91% Isopropyl Alcohol. Cleans my airbrushes and no spots. I do have a mixing formula if your interested.

Lowrance recomends a solution of Dawn and a micro fibre wipe... i use window cleaner with vinegar and a micro fibre clothe and clean similar to this video...

Carl -I'll take a guess that a solution of 1/4 Iso propyl Alcohol and 3/4 filtered Water would do the trick. It's what is used to clean Vinyl recordings.
