The male is in the distance with the white chest….dark brown female closest bird to the right…..we had about six pairs around us….loon orchestra…..males trying to be louder than their counterparts…

Notice the channel marker in the distance……these loons were diving in 55 feet of water and staying submerged for over two minutes at a time, came up with fish every time…..
