This was my first herring drop ………had the pole in a holder and the stripers put two feet of the rod in the water when they crushed the bait…crazy…

It was a good time, I used to fish at night in Louisiana and South Carolina to beat the heat…..before 9/11 we had a great bank spot on this same lake but we lost that spot to security fencing after 9/11…..
