Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

To all the People that came to the Bluegill Rendezvous I want to say " Thank You for making it a big success ! We knew that fishing would be tough but getting to meet the other members that we visit with on Bluegill Big Bluegill   was the real Trophy, could not ask to meet a finer bunch of people. We got to visit while looking in each others tackle and  techniques, we ate good and had a big time with lots of laughs and giggles, overall I hope everyone had as big of a time as I did, and if you get a chance to attend another Rendezvous I will highly recommend  it, it was one of the best times I have had in a while. Once again  THANKS  for  big time , I see you at our next one  .    LOFR

Great words, LOFR.

THANK YOU LORD OF THE FLY RODS FOR COMING UP WITH THE IDEA OF A RENDEVOU!!    IT WAS MORE FUN THAN COULD BE IMAGINED!!

Great to see more and more members are meeting up.

Great stuff LOFR. Glad it worked out and sorry I wasn't able make it. If there were a way I could of made it I would have been the 1st one there nothing I'd like better then to get acquainted with my fellow BBGers I know a good time was had by all.

Great stuff Lofr and the short fiesty guy on the end ? MUST BE CARLLLLLLLLLL !

Thanks LOFR the chance to meet some of the BBG family. It was truly like a family, I got there late on Friday and was welcomed by LOFR and soon after met Johnny Wilkins, Carl and the Duncan's. I am not usually comfortable around strangers but none of these people seemed like strangers to me, more like a favorite crazy uncle and some of your favorite cousins. One that happen to move up north. The ribs were as good as advertised too. I had some trouble with my truck so I had to go home Friday night. I returned Saturday morning and I'm glad I did. I had the honor and pleasure of fishing Reelfoot with Carl Hendrix and Johnny Wilkins. Carl and I had warned Johnny about the stumps but it still surprised him when the motor hopped over the first one. Then soon after the jumping carp we didn't warn him about gave him another thrill. This happened within 100 yards of ramp so I knew this was going to be an adventure. The fishing was bad but the company was awesome. Carl will have to tell you how he walked on water to rescue us from a very large stump. I went home Saturday afternoon because I was so wore out from a bad week at work , a late night and an early morning. I hope you all get to go to a getogether like this one. If you get a chance to meet or fish with any of these guys take it, you'll be richer for it. Thanks everybody.
Very nice, Keith. Glad you were able to go.
Its always over to soon, Life always intervenes. But the memory lingers...
