This is a nice sampling of my favorite fish.....the world famous Coppernose Bluegill.....Caught some great ones this season and here's a few to enjoy.......John Sheehan originally thought of the fish calendars......this is just a spin off of his idea!

Thanks Mike and Tony.....just trying to pass the days with 40 mph winds.......Ready to chase some more cold water fish...

Jeffrey. ...like they say up north. "You da man" when it comes to Bluegill fishing ...I enjoy all your
Pictures and posts ...

Paul

Kind words Paul.....as much as I enjoy all things Bluegill fishing....I also enjoy capturing the photos and sharing with fans of the gills.....Many of my years were captured on polaroid or disposables that didn't turn out well.....today's technology makes things so easy and the results are awesome......I took approximately 6,000 pictures on three cameras last year and about a third have wound up on this forum.....Many of my family members across the country won't join but visit the site often to check out how the fishing is going....what a great tool!

Jeffrey..... be they r kind words or not truth is the pictures are truly Spectacular and the information you
Can learn from the posts are amazing ... The technological world we now live in is very helpful saving and conveying all this information .. I just put a 16g SD card n my digital camera, I enables me to get 3'144 pics ..unbelievable isn't it ... What a great tool indeed .....I look forward to reading your posts in 2013 happy new year to you and your family ..
Paul ....
Jeff...just outa curiosity what camera are you taking those pics with . ...?

Paul

Love the fish porn,   Some really nice copperheads there

Thanks Steve, we are blessed with some great Coppernose fishing in the Carolinas......

Time to start putting together the Bluegill Stars of 2013 Calendar.....

I'm working on my 2013 version now......should be fun to assemble......

Thataway Jeff!

Got to fish a few more weeks before I publish my 2013 version.....Thanks again for the idea John Sheehan and hope you share some of yours with us......Can't believe another year is almost gone!

This has been more difficult to put together for 2013......many worthy candidates but I'm narrowing it down...I would like to save some surprises throughout the year but it's fun to share the pictures when they are taken and talk about the moment/memories.....that's just the way to do it here on Bigbluegill.com
