Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

I didn't catch anything tonight so I'm having popcorn and a margarita for dinner. Who is having something stranger?

lol! yes i eat the cheese, then cut the cheese, then stick some cheese on a hook and catch some catfish too, they love eating at chucky cheeses. lol!

My Bullheads and Channel Cats wont resist Hot dogs  and cheese favored Hot Dogs.

Sharon ,I never saw a Bass caught on cheese .The  first Bass I ever caught was on a piece of bacon.I was Seven years old. That was 51 years ago ! Wow it's a fairly  fresh memory though .

I have bacon. How big of a piece did you use?

Sharon-There are cheaper ways than using Bacon to catch Bass   I'm sure .My 51 yr old memory tells me it was a 1" strip .If the bacon from the fridge goes bad or gets mold on it ,then use it other wise enjoy it cooked up with Gills.

I ask because I'm having trouble getting my bass to bite anything but pellets. Did you see my new pellet fishing lure?

Sharon, to save costs of bacon. Lightly toast 3 pieces of bread. lay in sealed storage container. Next time you cook bacon, pour some of the dippings over the bread. then seal up and freeze. take container to pond and just pinch a piece off and put on hook.

Bacon-bread pellets. Dang, wish I was a fish!

Let me clarify !, I dont have a pond . The lakes I catch them  bh and Bass in.

........need a photo of the pellet lure Ha ha Put a spinner on it !!

look in the group female fishermen

Many a day we would go buy the store and buy what we need for us to make sandwiches. 2 slices of white bread, bransweiger, and a thick onion. Don't get any better than that. Maybe a few chips and a coke to wash it down. Got to go I'm getting hungry.

Dick, I like my bransweiger, onion and hot pepper chesse. Now your are talking. I am the only one in the house that likes bransweiger. But I am also the only one that eats pigs feet. I have a rot gut. Everything has to have hot sauce on it also.
