first fishing trip of 2012 today..lol .. im like a lil kid on christmas.. now the people ive talked to say they arent biting.. but its been beautiful spring or fall like weather here in ILLINOIS.. so we will see i guess .. i will bring the nikon and show everyone where i fish just for the heck of it..

I felt the same way since Thursday, which Sat supposedly my day of fishing. BUT..something came up..cancelled my fun time. Got some new toys to play with but have to wait another few weeks..heh..oh well..more time to trick out my gears.

well disasterous day to say the least... walked out the door without my camera, forgot my wax worms and caught 5  lil bg and one 6 or 7 in crappie.. but it was a nice day and got away from the hustle and bustle of life..

Cal, dont know how fishing is in your neck of the woods, but down southern IL, they are hard to come by. These high pressure fronts have them all over the place.
