How to stop Email reply ??

How can I stop the Emails thats sent out every time someone replys to a thread ?

So,  all I have to do is click on the (  "Follow" - Email me when people reply ) at the end of the box before click on the "Add Reply"....  ????

Maybe I've got it backwards then, it has "stop following, dont Email when people reply" , I'll try it the other way and see what happens.
