Thanks guys......historically Ken we have great gill fishing in coastal N.C. starting in May and slowly getting better through June and finally peaking on or around the Full Moon in July......Normally August pushes our water temperatures up into the high 80s to near 90 which pushes our shallow gills out off slopes and points until September when we start seeing the impact of cold fronts thus pulling the water temperatures back down and we normally experience a three to four week jump in the bite shallow before the Coppernose go deep around 60 degrees and lock jaw sets in at 50........All in all, I'm happy from Good Friday through Thanksgiving and I'm thankful for that......I would certainly try ice fishing if I had it but we are just a little bit South and East of that so I survive those months on Bigbluegill.com...........LOL
Nice hen Jeffrey
