I believe I got that Ted Williams UL rod sometime in the 50's, but don't hold me to it.  Time sure has a way of slipping away!

Still digging for the JC Higgins tackle box, it's here , just have to find it, I found another metal tackle box , it's classic and old and doesn't have a name but it still has the original price on it ,  $3.25 . I ran across another old Ted Williams friend , thought you might like to see him , he is 45 years old .   He was made by Daiwa  , he was a Millionaire  !   LOFR

Marvin -A Ted Williams UL ? Wow! how old?

That would go real good with the Ted Williams UL spinning rod that I use all the time.

When I was working my way thru College I worked in the sporting goods dept at Sears , there is no telling how many of those boxes I have sold in the early 70's, I also sold the first Pong Games and the first Compound bows. WOW I feel old now . If I can I'll dig out one of my old metal J C Higgins tackleboxes and get you a picture ! LOFR
