Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

I know I am spoiled fishing in southern California reservoirs but kept some smaller gills and a few that were 50-55 feet deep off a sunken plane fishing a 1/64th oz double rigged with a leader and a silver willow blade on the trailer jig. Glow/sparkle heads and glow Chinelle bodies. Very rarely do I use meat on my custom jigs but when the bite slowed id double tip with waxies

Nice fish.......good testimony..........and I catch 4 to 5 thousand gills a season and maybe a hundred are caught deeper than 10 feet......fish adapt to their environment.......crazy.......
