We use these for casting to redfish when the highest tides flood over the grass flats that are normally dry.  They look like small crabs coming thru the grass.  I have caught crappies, to catfish and bluegills to bluefish on these spoons.

Thanks for the nice comments guys.

These are fly rod spoons,  be darn near impossible to cast on spinning gear.  

Weed guards are wire, molded in when they're made.

These look great !Are they flyrod spoons ? They look very thin gauged! Got a weight on  these ?They are designed obviously to come through weeds and I'm wondering what # test spinning tackle they would work and catch with .

Pretty darn neat homemade spoons, and weedless to boost. Is that metal wire or 40lbs mono for the weed guard?

Down here where I live those catch most anything that swims.  My friend Pete made these and sent them along woth the directions on how to reproduce them.  I still haven't tried any myself,
