Kudos to you Sonny for releasing the big ones!

I want to add this.  I've been super fortunate to fish with big Bluegill expert Sonny several times.  (He is a neighbor, he lives close by me.). When he catches a large fish, well all fish actually, but especially the really big ones, he handles them with extreme care and consideration, making sure he does not drop them or let them flop around too much.  Even the landing net is rubber so as to not damage fins or scales.  Sonny quickly measures them, takes a couple quick pics, (the hand pic he is known for) and releases them back into the lake to spawn again and possibly be caught again when they are even larger!

thnx guys

Been having an exceptional season on the 2lb CNBGs and it keeps getting better. Been trolling for 8 weeks - now it's time to cast Autos. Spawning fish caught a big break this moon. Weather has been horrendous for fishing - wind & rain. Hoping to get out Friday and Saturday - rest of next week doesn't look to good either. Time to load up the jig box.

Hope to find his daddy today.... Almost kept this one - 2.3lbs. Was trolling and catching pre/post spawn females. These males are stacked up off an old roadbed. Goes from 12' to 21'.

Meanwhile everyone is waiting to bed fish...
