Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Caught a few today on night crawlers. The wind was howling but it was 70 degrees.

Yes I'm glad I could go because it's 45 and rainy today with no relief in sight. I never used to fish ponds this time of year but since I started drop shoting it changed the game for me. As long as it's not raining and above freezing I'm able to get out and catch some nice fish. Thanks for all the comments guys.

Nice!

It was 70° here in southern Ohio yesterday but the water was muddy from recent rains, and I didn't have any live bait. Didn't feel like fighting the wind with the fly rod, so I just watched the ducks & geese.

Yea Carl it won't stay 70 for long. We can still catch them as long as the ponds aren't ice over. I almost didn't go because of the 20+ mile an hour winds but I fought it out and caught a few nice ones.
