Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

I had seven solid Northerns in the mix......I fished the same location on 11/25 and the water temperatures on average were 7 degrees higher today than they were two weeks ago.....Crazy winter again......

Thanks Vince.....weather has been quirky down here for sure......keeps a few gills hitting.....Good luck during your vacation......I'll have a couple weeks off starting 12/21 for some quality family time but I'll get out a few times to see what's taking a bait....LOL....We have 70s in the ten day forecast on multiple days.......kind of going like last year did.....Crazy!

That's a classic northern gill, Jeffrey. Great shot of that one! This morning started out with light rain, and by this afternoon it was 70 deg. and sunny. Had to work all weekend, but am on vacation starting the 16th. Hope to have some good warm days before then.

Thanks Tooty.....this fluky weather is causing so many ups and downs with regards to the water temperatures........
