Thanks Dave but still haven't tackled anything with feathers wet or dry. I do have a few feathers but need to get a few in stock. Rex or somebody gave a brief summery of what feathers to use where on which flies. I'll have to go back and look it up and print it.Well what ever I enjoy the tying aspect just not very fast at it. Maybe that will come with time who knows. Thank you for your input on fly tying I do needs lots of help and its nice knowing your just a type O away or better yet a phone call away. Keep them flies coming.

I AGREE WITH GREG , DICK. YOU'VE COME A LONG WAY AND NOW can do anything you want with regards to tying buddy. When you do decide to downsize your offerings just make sure you proportion the materials also . Great job Dick!

Thanks Greg that is the only way I feel comfortable. Greg think there any way I can con you out of your cricket pattern.

Dick, Tie the size you are comfortable with, then go to the next size smaller, then the next size smaller, then the next size smaller...!!!! Just change the proportion of the materials to the hook!!!!! You have come so far with tying YOU can do this!!!!!!!

Hey Bruce I love to fish although I can't get out like I use to or want who knows maybe one day we can hook up.

Comment by Bruce Tomaselli on January 5, 2013 at 8:35am

Dick, I'm sure the bass will like 'em.

Bruce

PS. I get the feeling you'd be a guy I'd like to fish with, Dick.

Bruce I wish. Just that bigger things are easier to tie especially for me. The next Clousers I till I will downsize and use smaller hooks. Thought it would be easier and more comfortable for me to use the larger stuff till I get use to tying the Clousers. They will not be wasted I'll introduce them to my Hybrid Strippers in the pond see what they think of them.
