Rick were did you get your applicator bottle for your glue.

Thanks Jen and I'm learning unfortunately that fly is unusable because the hook is between the eyes.

That fly IS NOT a failure, it's a learning experience. I tie most everything on a size 10 and have just adapted the amount of material. As you get more experience you will too. I'd fish that fly!!!!

There you go, gents.  I knew there would be someone willing to beta-test the discards......

You guys send me all the flies you don't like, I'll be more than glad to fish them.

Tooty - I thought I was the only one that had a bowl of old ties that I do not like.

Dick - Allen and Tooty are correct will look differant in water and head first treat for fish.

Allen I'll admit I am super critical on my stuff and in doing so I know where the flaws are and with that hoping I'll know what the fixes are but I always have my ears open for any useable advice that may be helpful. Thank you kind sir for your interest.

Dick, I'm going to echo everyone else.  Don't sell yourself short.

Also, don't toss that fly into the recycle/donate bag until you try it.  Remember, fish have to eat other fish HEAD FIRST!  Buy putting the hook up near the eyes, said hook point is in a good position to pierce that fish's lip on the strike!

Oh yea Tooty I have one of them things and all I can say is at least somethings getting full. Take care my friend.
