It was a long weekend and I tried to stay awake but missed it all but a little at the beginning .

I didn't see it, John. But what would TV be without manufactured drama?
Can't you just see it: "I traveled to an out of the way place, which most of you will never see, let alone pronounce properly.
While there, I saw local stuff, talked to townspeople and told you about fish and other stuff. Then I went out and caught some fish. There you go."
See without melodrama, fishing is, well not really good TV. LOL

What did everybody think last night? I thought it was a pretty decent season premiere; still don't like the manufactured drama though. The whole "Maybe the guy was murdered and thrown in the river" thing was a bit much. Also, in the commercial at the beginning of the show he say that he'll keep going as long as there are more river monsters to catch. The problem is, he HAS caught all of them already!

The new season starts on my birthday haha. But I don't have cable so i don't know how i'll watch it :(
