Photo's of some Carp.

I just wanted to show you guy's my Carp that I have caught in my 2yrs of fishing for them. Some of these Carp I waited for 5hrs from peck to set hook. Carp are nowhere near dumb like everyone think's this Fish are very smart they will shy away from a hook in a second. I don't have many Carp under my belt but I did do pretty good in just 2yrs. I have caught a total of 25 carp and missed 30, some picture's I'am not able to find. I was using a Bread dipped in honey I would take the end's off…

Lost something big

I did pretty good today caught 13 bluegill's and 2 bass using a Mosquito but I think my line was friding and a little one snap it (My Fault wasn't thinking). So I just put a new #16 Mosquito on. About 4 cast's later letting it sit on top I made a few strip's while on top BAM! Something slam it hard, I pull up snap! I lost my last 2 Mosquito's both from a fish today. I couldn't tell if it was a big Gill maybe a bass I don't know all I saw was the top fin's couldn't make out the color tho. Ooo…

Angelo...we smashed em today on jig/worm combos about 24 to 30 inches below a bobber...was 46 for high today. In Yesterdays wind, I managed 18...most of which were on nightcrawlers on the bottom, inched along slowly, some were monsters. Don't let the cold scare you...give it a try!

Hey Angelo...that was a great bass your wife caught, and we would be happy to put it up again. But please read the rules section of this site and understand that f-bombs, like in the title of that photo, are simply not allowed on this site, which is often visited by youngters and children. We strictly enforce the no foul language rule on BBG, so please abide.

Bruce and I will appreciate your cooperation regarding this..

Thanks,     Jim

Welcome Angelo to This is a site with loads of information where we can learn and enjoy in doing so. We have Forums that are interesting in themselves. Feel free to read the forums they are loaded with information and above all don't be afraid to jump in and participate we are all learning we can never learn enough and what to continue in our learning process, maybe you have that little extra something that we can put in our bag of tricks to make us even a little better fisherman/fisherwoman. On this site there is lots of information which we can use to fine tune our fishing skills maybe helping us in our pursuit of catching that special little fish we call blue gill which encompasses redears and pumpkinseeds. We also have interesting bits of wisdom on perch and crappies and the list goes on, cause we all love to catch fish or we probably wouldn't be here now.

We also have Blogs again loaded with information. This site is all about catching bluegills and we do that with some success but what we really want is that ultimate giant for bragging rights and you'll see there are some big gills caught. Its just a good well rounded site with loads of information with good people who don't mind sharing, we have loads of fun doing so which you will see. We also have some of the best photo's on the net here for us to look at put in by our members here at BBG. We have a video section that will keep your blood pumping and make you want to be fishing on that special lake or river fishing your heart out. (TAKE A KID FISHING) such a great high.

Above all we want you to enjoy yourself don't be afraid to share some of your fishing experiences with us we would love to hear about them please don't be afraid to share your exact lakes with me with all GPS coordinates and the exact baits you used it will be my little secret I won't tell soul.

We also have a Chat Room which in my opinion is very underused, but you must be log in to access it. So by all means log in and use It, you will meet some interesting and great people there who knows you may even catch me there. Enjoy, have fun but above all be safe in doing so and GOOD FISHIN..
