@Rick Fuhrman

I still have my copy of Lunkers Love Nightcrawlers that I bought when I was in middle school or maybe even elementary school in the 1970s. Still hoping to find one of the old 8 foot Nightcrawler Secrets rods to go with it :-) Do still have (and sometimes use) the 5 foot one piece NS rod that I bought in middle school. As they said in the ad copy at the time, it's an ultralight with guts.

I looked at photo of Improve your panfishing by Mark Sosin. I remembered own it years ago when I was young kid. Good old days! I readed Crappie ..... cant remember name of book but its about crappie wrote by Dan Gapen. I have a nice old book Crappie Wisdom, Bass, walleye, and pike from In Fisherman. I like to own many old and new books about panfishing. I have a nice big catalog that I save it since 1983. Bass Pro Shop 1983 catalog. Weird! Price is cheap and many nice rods is not great for today! Rapala is cheap!!!!! I plan to buy two crappie books from In Fisherman but I am not sure how much I have to pay tax for Illinois ..... 10 percent?
Bluegill! Dave Genz is nice book and picture of big bluegill made me jealous! lol! Terry & Roxanne book about fly fishing for bluegills. I am not fly fishing but I enjoy read this book!

You're testing my memory now John..................i want to say Scribler or Schiber or Schribner Book Co. (?) Something like that - don't put too much money behind them as that's off the top of my head.

Thanks Zig.Happen to know the Publisher? I'll search the Scientific Angler by Paul Johnson Angler. Have to see if it's in my local Library.
I just finished reading Izaak Walton's respected classic,The Compleat Angler" pub. in 1653!!!! 300 yrs before my birth. It's about fishing for several species in England around London and the River Thames (Wonder what can live in that mudhole these days)over 100 years befor our Independece.
