Fish Attractant in the Coastal N.C. Marsh…..7/4/2025

I search out these wild hibiscus flowers because they attract lots of insects which in turn brings the fish….many areas will have shorelines that are covered with hundreds of the flowers right at the waterline….

Thanks John…anytime you get close to them there’s hundreds of different insects buzzing around and attracting things that eat insects…..it’s quick, by late August the flowers are all gone and it settles down….

I have Bruce but most jigs I use are 1/32 or 1/16 with a little bigger hook…..with so many bass , crappie , white perch etc…..it has served me best…

Smart plan. Do you fish any ant or grasshopper type jigs and bait?
