I can't say for sure, Jeffrey. I do know I don't see them much anymore, but maybe they're just uncommon. They made the same thing in other patterns/colors, I had an earthworm version at one time. I buy em' whenever I come across them.
Nice collection Tony....I've never seen that particular catalpa worm crank.....Does Rebel still offer it?
Uh-oh.... now I need some micro crankbaits!
They're floaters Leo because I often start them in very shallow water....Over the top of beds...The neat thing about these Strike King Cranks is you can submerge them with a jerk and they slowly return to the surface....you can maintain them suspended with very little effort and I like that feature as well....
Our waters may be different Dwayne...mine being very dark....but the Bitsy Minnows in Chartreuse/Blue, Tennessee Shad and Sexy Shad outfish the others that I have......I had a couple Sexy Shads that were scared up pretty good from fish strikes but I did catch several bass and bowfin on these baits....I rarely just fish crank baits but always have one available to throw on identified fish with alot of success......As previously noted I tend to catch a larger average size fish on these lures...I'm a firm believer that the crank baits will trigger the biggest fish of a particular colony....IMO
