What part of deer hide for fly tying?

My uncle recently got himself a deer, and I was wondering what hair from which part of the body of the deer would be good to have for tying some hair bugs.  Does anyone have any info they'd like to share?

This is why it's so good have hunters and farmers as friends. Plenty of fly tying materials. Just make sure to properly preserve the materials properly after the kill. Not a good thing to have rotting flesh coming from your stashes.

Scrape the flesh off the back of the hide , I use Bic disposable razors  for the final scraping, then salt the hide and give it time to dry and then it's ready., Question: how many flys can you make from 1 deer hide?  LOFR
