Nothing like starting an early adrenalin rush.

nothing quite like pulling big gills thru a 6in hole when its 10 deg outside

lived in michigan all my life... last winter was brutal... this year i would love to be warm pulling oscars out of the everglades.

however... if this forecast holds true we'll have thinner ice than last year (33") and im stuck here in Michigan i might give ice fishing another try.

Looks like i better get some more blankets out for the misses.

warm fire place;; hot coffee ball game on tv;;warm house of 75 degrees!!!  think that beats freezing!!!  but;; congrats to you hard water fishing guys!!

Carl, I'd love to see a few photos of that burning fire place, hot coffee and some flies in a vise. I live in an apartment and I love fire places.

Can't wait to see what the new ice season brings.
