Carl got me started on these reels. Perrine Model 57 I'm thinking from the looks and feel it will be perfect panfish reel. Thanks Carl you have no idea what you started.

Example, you're too happy hooking up a HUGE fish. You smile and jump up and down excitedly. The jerking motion or the extra strength invoked into the landing of the fish unhooked your fish midway. Impairment on a single task still become a problem.

Now, drinking, impairing your perception on how big the fish really is, as well as slowing down your retrieval rate, ensure the fish will remain on the line. Impairment of your visual and responsiveness ensure you to land the fish. Win-win.
